Why Aren’t People Joining Through Me?

Why Aren't People Joining Through Me?

When I started going to my company events I saw one thing. People were…

a) joining the business
b) buying the products
c) having success

… and that was a sure sign that this business works!!

It just wasn’t working for me…

That’s when I started to ask myself “Why aren’t people joining through me?”

I was at a point in my journey where I just didn’t know what I didn’t know… what I’d learned to that point was not helping me build my business and I didn’t even know why.

I was sharing the product, I was inviting people to the meetings and attending training… but it was just me, doing this “alone”. I was a One Man Team…

I knew one thing, all I needed to do was figure out how to sponsor my first team member and then I’d be able to do it over and over and over as many times as it would take to hit my goal…

I started out without an upline to show me how to do this business. My upline left the business about a month after I first joined so I had to figure out a lot of stuff for myself until I found a good mentor.

One of my mentors said something to someone else that completely resonated with me and changed my life…

He said “I hate to break it to you, but people are not saying no to the product or the business… they are saying no to YOU!”

Again, people were buying the product… I knew that because the company was in momentum growing like crazy!!

I knew that people were doing the business and having success with it, because I kept seeing people go on stage and share their success story.

People were saying yes to the product, they were saying yes to the business, but they were saying NO to ME??

As much as it hurt to hear those words, I took them the right way.

I realized I needed to go to work on ME.

This meant that I needed to become the leader I was looking for myself.

If I stayed the same person I was then people would continue to say no…

The biggest thing I changed that changed everything for me was simply my ATTITUDE.

This included being confident about what I was doing and why I was doing it.

I was tired of having to go to work everyday.

It was becoming common on Sundays to have that feeling of “tomorrow is Monday and it starts all over… ughh”…

I stopped caring whether people would join or not and started focusing on finding out if they were as sick and tired as I was and whether they were as hungry as I was to succeed!

The product didn’t change, the business didn’t change… I changed.

I was serious.

I people aren’t joining you, then YOU need to go to work on YOU…
